Celebrating With Our Families in School
It has been wonderful to welcome so many of our families into school this week for two special events!
On Tuesday, Peacock Class welcomed their adults into the classroom to explore their learning environment. Unfortunately, I was off site, but Mrs Tiernan was delighted to share how proud she was of the children. They confidently talked to their adults about their classroom and explained the different learning areas, showcasing their growing independence and enthusiasm for learning.
On Wednesday, we held our first Family Lunch of the academic year, giving children the opportunity to share their maths learning with their adults before sitting down to enjoy lunch together. It was lovely to see so many proud parents taking an interest in their children’s learning and sharing these special moments with them.
We absolutely love welcoming our families into Dordon. These opportunities strengthen the partnership between home and school and show our children that we are one team, working together to support their development, enhance their experiences and give them the very best education possible.
