Healthy Lifestyles Week

This week, Dordon promoted the importance of keeping healthy and what this encompasses.  The classes from Reception to Year 6 took part in healthy lifestyles lessons and discussed why a healthy diet, exercising and positive mental health is a vital part of our lifestyles.

 

Here are the activities the whole school took part in during the week:

The Colour Run

Sports Day

Making/cooking healthy snacks

Lessons all about keeping healthy

Park & Stride

 

Discussing our health is an important part of the curriculum that we teach and refer to throughout the year. Exercising and eating right can help us all to feel better mentally and physically. 

 

I would like to thank all families for attending Sports Day and being so understanding when you had some colourful children return home on Monday. We have made some memories that will last a lifetime this week.
