King Charles III Coronation

What a day!

The children have enjoyed a day of celebrations in preparation for the coronation of King Charles III tomorrow.

Today, classes have studied different countries in the commonwealth, found out about King Charles, played party games, practised singing the national anthem and enjoyed a traditional English afternoon tea (cake and juice are always a big hit).

This is a moment in history that our pupils will one day tell their children and grandchildren about and we wanted it to be special for them. With this in mind, all children have gone home with a personalised Dordon bookmark to keep as a memento to mark the coronation.
